Born and raised on a fruit farm in Grand Rapids, Michigan, I brought my work to the rugged beauty of Fairbanks, Alaska in January 2018. For over three years I had the privilege of doing creative projects for clients with a focus on community. In the summer of 2021, I took this experience back home with me where I design full-time remotely across Michigan and out of state.

While look back fondly on my time in Alaska, my love for design, people, and the outdoors continues to thrive. I enjoy picking the apples behind our house, a good Petosky stone hunt, and a rustic weekend up north with my partner, Mark, our daughter, Sadie and our chocolate lab, Scout.

I am thankful for all of the experiences that have made me who I am. I think meaningful design is inspired by a bit of adventure—For me, it begins with fresh air, good company, and a pinch of whimsy.
